Summary: This series starts with the traumatic results of the 8 Doctor ending the Time War and it's effect on him which result in him becoming 9 (Part 00). Then follows the events of the Doctor's healing (Part 01) then the adventures (Part 02->)which fill in the missing scenes and motivations behind the character's actions. The whole series is AU though most of the early parts could easily have happened between episodes and thus are to that extent cannon compliant. The events in Part 02 follow the new series season one very closely with later parts diverging more as the relationships change.
